Busy Week

We have had a very crazy last 2 weeks, with our Mama Belnap coming into town, family reunions and brothers Eagle Scout court of honor. We started with Debbie coming into town. She arrived here on July the 11Th, we were very excited to see her because with my new job I have very little vacation time and we have not see her since last Thanksgiving. We spent the week with her shopping at Kohls, swimming at the new water park Cowabuga Bay and going to the Osmond Brothers concert. We also had a family party for the Henrie side and a Family reunion on the Smith side. After Debbie left to go back to Vale, we had a date with my side of the family to go see Harry Potter and a few day after that we went to my brother's Eaglt Scout court of honor. So that is the update for the last 2 week.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! We celebrated our nations birthday by heading to our grandparents house for a party. We had a BBQ and played some games. Our grandparents had bought a package of fireworks and we also brought our own as well. Devin was our firework lighter and I was the organizer of the show. It went well, even though I had a spark burn my foot. We also were able to watch 2 city firework shows from their back yard. We had a great 4th of July.

Devin's Birthday

Today we celebrated Devin's 26th birthday. I asked him early if he felt 26 and he jokingly stated that he felt like he was 24. (inside joke)We celebrated with our family, with cake, brownies and some games. Devin got socks and a DSi from me and from the fam he recieved some shorts, board short, a book entitled "Men of Influence" and a Deseret Book gift card.
Devin enjoyed his birthday and even recieved a late text to land line message from his Mom and Dad telling him Happy Birthday as well. Well good night all, talk to you soon.

Welcome to the Devin and Jess Blog. Greetings! To give you a little bit of backgroung on us, we have been married for the past three years. I met Devin throught his Aunt, right after he came home from a 2 year mission in Dallas, Texas. He served as Elder Belnap in Quitman, Corsicana, Lakewood, Athen, Henderson, and Plano.
Devin comes from a small town in Oregon and myself from a big city in Utah. At first we didn't like each other at all, but then sparks flew and we have been together ever since. Right now we are both working full time jobs and have thoughts of going back to school, but we will see how that goes. Life is going very well right now and we are enjoying all the time we get to spend together. We even have been talking about adding a new member to our family........a small dog.
